I just finished 6 rounds of aggressive chemotherapy
For lymphoma. Not a single day of sickness
And even worked some days. Doctors and
Nurses were amazed by my strength,
The diet helped me through it.

An excellent response! And may I add, graceful on your critics, who in all honesty does not deserve much grace.
I was also asked to write an article on the Blood Type Diet by some 'journalist'.
We gave our personal family testimony and also some of people I have been advising on following the diet since the first blue book!
Your lady promptly supplied me with the exact tecnical data I needed and I finished the article

It NEVER got published! Seems like it was not controversial enough!

Any way, keep strong as the truth will prevail in the end!

I have seen many MD's, NDs with different approaches, and I found one thing in common, especially when it comes to chronic deseases. They all looked very confident before treatment (which is normal), but they still looked confident when they could not help me (as if it was me). I hope they were more self-critical and skeptical. They look like they were stuck in their own education, bliefs, theories, and diet.

All I can say is thank goodness that I have always had a strong penchant for thinking for myself and then experimenting on myself since a young child. After all, it is my body and I do have rights as to how/who/why is performed on it! If I had not been so very vigilant and forward thinking I would either be very seriously ill but in most likelihood I would not be here. When you encounter something that is so real and rings true like the Blood Type/Geno Diet, grab the pot-o-gold and rejoice. If one is willing to do the work and be compliant, one cannot help but be rewarded with good health, weight loss, a sense of balance. If we don't have our health, the quality of life is greatly diminished...I opt for health through personal accountability...It is empowering to navigate your way to health.

Prior to reading your book I was also on a healthy diet. Chicken 3 times a week because it's low fat, wheat germ because it's so healthy, lots of peanut butter - and I fed this diet to my family, 3 of us type B and one type A. My main health concern was Candida overgrowths in the gut and sinuses. These led to arthritis flare ups from the toxic loads the yeast/fungus produce. They almost always occurred together.

Since starting the blood type diet, and banishing chicken and most wheat, switching to spelt and eliminating peanut butter, (I still eat lots of popcorn), just those 3 changes have cut the Candida and arthritis flare ups by 80% - and this is as I'm aging, which might make the osteo arthritis flare up more. I don't even like to think where I might be had Renee not given me your book.

My A blood son reports eating red meat sometimes upsets his stomach. I've given both my kids copies of your book & am always promoting your diet. My daughter in law gave her mother a copy of your book who then gave it to her neighbor. I guess it is sort of - a grass roots promotion. We who know it works, spread the word. :-) Thank you for your research & dedication.

I would be willing to testify to how it has helped me, and I was eating healthy by all standards before trying it. Maybe that should be your next book. Gather all the testimonies...

A great rebuttal, Peter! The media bias the BTD faces is very similar to the bias the chiropractic profession has wrestled with for decades. I understand the irritation with "balanced journalism".

My wife had recurring pains in varying parts of her body for years. Imagine my frustration with trying to help her as a doctor of chiropractic. We looked into the BTD and Sandy started on the A type diet. In just a couple of weeks all the recurrent pain she was experiencing vanished. That's what prompted me to become a Fellow with the Institute for Human Individuality.

Many years later and hundreds of my patients have benefited from the blood type diet. I use the visual aid all the time and people seem to really get the concepts with that tool. I even wrote a blog article about BTD recently and have an opt in so readers can obtain a free PDF copy of the visual aid document.

Helping those with chronic health challenges is my calling and the Blood Type Diet is part of my tool box used to find out specifically what that individual needs for core level healing.

Hello Dr. D'Adamo,
First of all very nice blog you have and website that you have set up. I am a member of your forum and jump in with all the others members when I can. I have been doing your blood type diet for quite some time now and has helped me to some degree, although I now have a celiac disorder and have to abstain from all forms of gluten and wheat which is quite a challenge for me. I also have some digestive issues which go along with it and regularly take certain supplements that are recommened for celiacs. So, along with my gluten/wheat free diet, I am still sticking with the BTD cause I figure it will help with my health issues that I struggle with.
I have a particular question that maybe you can answer for me, my 85 yr old mother has arthritis and fibromyalgia and is a blood type O, and I would like to know if she should consume tomatoes? I think I had read in your ER4YT book that folks with arthritis should abstain from eating tomatoes along with potatoes and other types of foods because they contain something in the food that can aggravate inflammation that can cause pain. Also, they are considered a night shade vegetable. I am a blood type A and cannot consume tomatoes, good thing cause I have never been a huge fan of tomatoes in the first place except if it was a sauce. Now, I use pesto sauce as a replacement for my gluten free pasta. Any help you can give me here would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Michelle r. Taylor
